Camrbrian back to their winning ways

Report: Ryan Tyler

Cambrian travelled to Garden Village a week after suffering their first defeat this season, determined to take the points.

The first chance of the match fell at Jason Bertorelli's feet with only the goalkeep to beat,a good block denied Cambrian an early lead, from the save Garden
Village were able to head in after a long cross to the back post.

Cambrian created many chances after conceding the goal and it seemed an equaliser was inevitable. After a penalty shout which appeared to be a dive Jarad
Howells kicked from box to box, Bertorelli volleyed the ball from the edge of the box lobbing Garden Villages goalkeeper to bring the score level.

Cambrian continued their pressure, Scott Seldon being brought down in the box gave Dane Williams a chance to take the lead with a penalty kick which he took calmly.

Cambrian could have scored a third before the half time whistle when Bertorelli once again was one-on-one with the goalkeeper but could not keep the shot below the bar.

Garden Village started strong in the second half, pressurising Cambrian who looked happy with the one goal lead. A second goal for Garden Village nearly materialised when a free kick just outside the box was curling into the bottom corner but pulled a great save from goalkeeper Howells.

Berorelli and James Mahoney had chances to put Cambrian clear, both beating the keeper to a long ball, Berorelli's saved by the keeper and Mahoney’s by the crossbar.

Garden Village pulled back a goal moments after Mahoney's chance, a free kick just inside Cambrians half was headed just a few yards out into the net.

Cambrian began to dominate; Dane Williams put away a great volley but was offside.
A great through ball from Scott Seldon to Williams not long after was put away again this time onside to make it 3-2 Cambrian.

Jason Bertorelli was able to score a second after a brave tackle by Mahoney putting Cambrian two goals ahead.
