"C" License Certificate

Venue: Glamorgan Sports Park, The University of Glamorgan Playing Fields, Treforest Ind. Estate, Treforest, RCT

The Cambrian Academy will be supporting the FAW Trust in its delivery of the UEFA "C" License certificate, by providing players to take part in organised , structured sessions for coaching candidates.

Please see below for the time slots required for players to attend.

All U12 players - 9:30am - 12:30pm

All U13 players - 1:00pm - 4:00pm

All players will require boots for 3G and grass, shinpads, suitable training kit (preferably Cambrian) a packed lunch and adequate hydration for the day. If your time slot is inconvenient, please speak with your coach / contact as you may be able to attend the alternative session.

The Under 14 squad suffered extreme heartache after a 1-0 defeat to Merthyr Town in the FAW Academy Cup Semi Final at Ton Pentre last night.

Despite an evenly contested match, where both teams seemed to cancel each other out with a high standard of football on show, a late strike earned Merthyr a place in Sundays final where they will face Northern champions Porthmadog FC.

However, huge congratulations must now go to the squad, who have played their part in two exciting semi finals this season, narrowly missing out both times. A big thanks to all the players for their attitude and commitment towards the academy programme. Also thanks to Coach, Liam Williams and previous coach Daniel Smith, who have done a fine job developing and nurturing the Academy talent throughout the season.
