Despite our fantastic season, it seems the people involved in Rhondda sport decided against giving us any sort of mention during the Awards evening. Oh well, prehaps some personalities wouldnt go a miss? No disrespect but do these people even follow our football teams? Obviously its a sad loss to see Ton relegated, but to talk about them an not us is an absolute disgrace (an this is not Ton's fault)... Ton & Gelli - League Winners, Blaenrhondda - Promoted, Cambrian - WELSH LEAGUE RUNNERS UP, A first Rhondda league double for ten years (Llwynypia BC) I understand the fact that you generally have to win to get mentioned but surely a congratulations wouldnt go a miss? Never mind, rant over! Maybe next year we can give them more to talk about by winning it?

It’s about time people started to notice that the state of football in the Rhondda IS NOT in a bad way in fact it’s on the up... Just because these teams are not competing in the Rhondda League doesn’t mean they don’t exist... Look at Tonypandy Community College U18 Academy they reached the Welsh Cup 18s Cup Final and again no mention. These youngsters are the future of football in the Rhondda...

Looking in from the outside I cannot believe a club and a community who have done so much good work not even mentioned in the rhonnda awards. I think you should be applauded for all the great work your doing and be held up as an example to all other clubs throughout Wales. Keep up the good work lads.

We will continue to grow and improve all areas of the club. Hopefully we'll be in a position over the next few years to bring WPL football to the area.
